Về bộ môn tennis năm nay nước Mỹ kg có nhân tài Nam, tuy nhiên đội Mỹ- Nữ khá mạnh với 2 chị em Williams. Ấy thế mà, ngay trận đầu thì Venus đã chào thua hôm qua. Hôm nay tuy cô em Serena thắng trận đơn nhưng 2 chị em lại thua ngay trận đầu của giải đôi. Từ trước đến giờ ít ai ngờ được trận thua này khi 2 cô này lúc chơi chung đã thắng luôn 15 trận từ trước đến giờ và cứ giữ huy chương vàng giải Đôi Nữ. Mặt khác, cô chị Venus đã 36t, chắc đây là lần cuối họ chung nhau đấu Olympics.

Để xem cô em Serena đi được bao xa .. .nước Mỹ vẫn còn kỳ vọng.

Từ lâu rồi họ chỉ làm huy chương Vàng bằng bạc mạ vàng. Trong 1 bài tôi đọc thì huy chương này tổn phí là trên 500 đô la mà thôi. Nhưng chăc anh Pheo mà đấu giá thì cũng được trăm ngàn như chơi đấy.

Theo luật của Má Tây (Brazil) thì hồ bơi lớn hơn 20m thì phải có Lifequard , vì thế trong cuộc thi Olympics Rio 2016 , dù là các lực sĩ quốc tế bơi hay thế nào , đều phải có các Lifequard ngồi đằng sau hay đứng cạnh hồ bơi để Canh Chừng .

Mỹ: Tiền thưởng cho huy chương vàng Olympic ít hơn nhiều nước khác

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (NV) – Hoa Kỳ là quốc gia giàu có nhất trên thế giới, thế nhưng những nam nữ lực sĩ tham dự Thế Vận Hội lại không nhận được số tiền thưởng hậu hĩnh so với một số quốc gia khác khi đoạt huy chương vàng.

Các lực sĩ dự Thế Vận Hội Rio 2016 của Hoa Kỳ sẽ nhận được số tiền thưởng $25,000 khi đoạt huy chương vàng, $15,000 cho huy chương bạc và $10,000 cho huy chương đồng – tất cả đều chưa trừ thuế. Số tiền thưởng này chỉ ở mức thứ 9 trong số các quốc gia thưởng tiền cho các lực sĩ của họ tại Rio de Janeiro.

Singapore là quốc gia dẫn đầu mức tiền thưởng này, với $753,000 cho huy chương vàng, tiếp theo là Indonesia $383,000, Azerbaijan $255,000, Kazakhstan $230,000 và Ý là $185,000.

Theo Fox Sports Australia, các quốc gia Croatia, Anh, Na Uy, và Thụy Điển là những quốc gia không cho tiền thưởng khích lệ khi đoạt huy chương vàng, trong khi các quốc gia khác lại thưởng theo những cách khác như tại Nam Hàn được miễn trừ quân dịch, tại Đức được uống rượu bia suốt đời, và tại Belarus được ăn xúc xích không giới hạn. Vì thế, bốn vận động viên đoạt huy chương vàng Đức tại Rio cho đến thời điểm hiện tại có thể uống thả cửa với số tiền thưởng $20,000 của họ với hàng tấn bia Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbiers trong khi kết bạn với những ông vua xúc xích Belarus.

Bảo đảm, Hoa Kỳ hầu như sẽ phát tiền thưởng từng phần hơn bất cứ quốc gia nào khác trên thế giới. Cứ xem đoàn Hoa Kỳ hiện đang dẫn đầu tại Rio với tổng số 32 huy chương các loại, trong đó có 11 huy chương vàng – tổng số tiền $540,000 sẽ được thưởng đến thời điểm bây giờ. Tương tự, những liên đoàn thể thao cá nhân có thể thưởng nhiều hơn cho các huy chương, nhưng đô vật Hoa Kỳ với số tiền thưởng $250,000 cho những tay đô vật đoạt huy chương vàng, có nhiều cơ hội được hỗ trợ tại Mỹ và những nhà thế vận hội có thể bán những huy chương vàng của mình với giá $564 một cái trên eBay. Tuy nhiên, dường như các lực sĩ đoạt huy chương tại Hoa Kỳ thường có số tiền thưởng cao hơn mức thứ chín trong danh sách này.

Cho đến thời điểm này, không có lực sĩ Singapore nào đoạt huy chương vàng, nhưng có hai vận động viên Kazakhstan đoạt huy chương vàng tại Rio sẽ đem về nhà số tiền thưởng khoảng $460,000 bằng tất cả huy chương mà các lực sĩ Mỹ đoạt được cho đến hiện tại.

Những khoản tiền thưởng của Hoa Kỳ được trích từ ngân khoản riêng của Ủy Ban Thế Vận Hoa Kỳ, có được từ những bản quyền truyền thanh truyền hình và từ những nhà tài trợ. (TD)

VĐV nhận được bao nhiêu tiền khi giành HC vàng Olympic
Bên cạnh việc vinh danh, Ủy ban Olympic quốc tế (IOC) sẽ trao cho các nhà vô địch một số tiền làm phần thưởng.

Theo tờ Guardian (Anh), VĐV sẽ nhận từ IOC số tiền 25.000 đôla cho mỗi HC vàng họ giành được. HC bạc nhận 15.000 đôla, còn HC đồng nhận 10.000 đôla.

Số tiền thưởng này không thay đổi qua các kỳ Olympic, bất chấp việc đồng đôla mất giá do lạm phát hay lý do khác. Tuy nhiên, 25.000 đôla là một phần thưởng không nhỏ, đủ để tạo một phần động lực cho các VĐV. Tất nhiên, tinh thần thể thao Olympic và tự hào dân tộc vẫn được đề cao nhất.

Tuy nhiên, số tiền thưởng này của các VĐV sẽ được tính thuế như các khoản thu nhập bình thường khác. Guardian ước tính các VĐV sẽ phải đóng thuế 39% số tiền nhận được từ IOC. Trong khi đó, kênh truyền hình CNBC nhận định rằng với mỗi HC vàng giành được, VĐV Mỹ sẽ phải trả cho chính phủ tối đa là 8.986 đôla tiền thuế thu nhập.

Năm 2012, một số thượng nghị sỹ Mỹ đã đề xuất một điều luật cho phép miễn thuế với các khoản tiền thưởng giành được từ Olympic. Tuy nhiên, luật này vẫn trong quá trình thảo luận thêm.

Về số tiền thưởng mà mỗi quốc gia trao cho các VĐV đoạt HC vàng Olympic, Singapore nằm trong nhóm chơi trội nhất. Đảo quốc sư tử treo thưởng 753.000 đôla cho tấm HC vàng đầu tiên trong lịch sử nước này. Indonesia thưởng 383.000 đôla. Trung Quốc cũng được xem là một trong những nước thưởng lớn cho VĐV giành huy chương. Bên cạnh tiền, họ còn tặng thêm xe và nhà.

Với việc giành HC vàng đầu tiên sau 64 năm tham dự Olympic cho Việt Nam, xạ thủ Hoàng Xuân Vinh được thưởng 100.000 đôla. Ở một số nước như Anh quốc, Na Uy, Thụy Điển hay Croatia, VĐV không được nhận tiền thưởng.

Nếu các VĐV muốn bán HC vàng, họ sẽ thu về một khoản tiền, nhưng không nhiều. HC vàng Olympic hiện nay chỉ gồm 6 gram vàng nguyên chất và 525 gram bạc. Giá trị của nó, theo hãng trang sức Karus Chains, vào khoảng 500 đôla cho một chiếc.

Nếu HC vàng được làm hoàn toàn bằng vàng như hồi thập niên 90 thế kỷ trước, giá trị hiện tại có thể rơi vào khoảng 21.000 đôla. Nhưng giá trị còn tùy vào nhu cầu của người mua.

Chiếc HC vàng mà Jesse Owens giành được ở Olympic Berlin 1936 được bán với giá 1,4 triệu đôla. Mark Wells, cựu tiền đạo môn hockey, bán chiếc HC vàng của ông với giá 310.700 đôla vào năm 2010 để lấy tiền chi trả viện phí. Không ít VĐV đã bán huy chương của họ vì nhiều lý do.

Nhưng nếu vững vàng về tài chính, các VĐV chẳng tội gì phải bán huy chương. Theo Guardian, Michael Phelps có khối tài sản khoảng 50 triệu đôla và anh chẳng có lý do gì để bán dù chỉ một trong 21 chiếc HC vàng đang sở hữu.

Danh tiếng mà các VĐV thu về khi giành vinh quang ở Olympic giúp họ tìm được những hợp đồng tài trợ béo bở.

Đoàn thể thao Việt Nam gần như đã hoàn thành xong nhiệm vụ thi đấu ở Olympic Rio. Hôm qua một số đã lên đường về nước, trong đó có người hùng Hoàng Xuân Vinh. Trong ảnh Hoàng Xuân Vinh khoác áo xanh, đứng phía cuối. Anh chụp hình lưu niệm với Nguyễn Thị Ánh Viên (bơi), Trần Lê Quốc Toàn, Thạch Kim Tuấn (cử tạ)... trước khi rời Rio.

Trong hình cho biết có sáu hay bảy Công An đi kèm . Anh chị VDV nào bỏ trốn sẽ bị xử bắn tại chỗ .

Chắc anh chàng Pheo sẽ nghỉ chơi 2 năm, để ở nhà chăm thằng cu. Sau đó lại bổn cũ soạn lại, trở lại với cuộc chơi. Vẫn còn sung như thế này, thể nào cũng còn khả năng đoạt thêm ít nhất 2-3 huy chương vàng trong kỳ tới. Nói nôm na là ... "ngu gì nghỉ".

Anh bạn Ryan kỳ này chắc là kỳ Thế Vận chót rồi. Khg đạt được huy chương nhưng cũng đạt được kỷ lục sống dai. Ai cũng lo sợ bị cướp và bị dính Zika. Bây giờ thì cướp cũng đã xảy ra vài vụ rồi (liên luỵ đến lực sĩ thi đấu). Còn vấn đề zika chắc thêm thời gian có lẽ cũng sẽ nghe đến.

vận động viên Trung Quốc gần như chẳng có gì để kể ngoài chuyện khổ luyện.

Vận động viên Mỹ có thể là nhà toán học tương lai trong khi tương lai vận động viên Trung Quốc có thể đối diện
một sự thờ ơ ngược đãi…
Mỹ mang đến đoàn vận động viên gồm nhiều sinh viên đại học và họ đến Rio với tinh thần thể thao đúng nghĩa
của lịch sử Thế vận hội hiện đại.

Mệnh danh “quỷ tốc độ”, “tay bơi cừ khôi nhất” hoặc “vận động viên vĩ đại nhất thế giới hiện nay”, Katie Ledecky 19 tuổi,
khi Rio 2016 kết thúc, sẽ trở về Mỹ (với tấm huy chương vàng) và trở lại giảng đường Stanford.

Cùng đến Rio với Katie Ledecky là 30 sinh viên lẫn cựu sinh viên Stanford khác.
Sinh viên Stanford tham gia nhiều môn: bơi, lặn, polo nước, chèo thuyền, bóng đá, tennis, volley, rugby, nhảy rào…
Suốt từ năm 1912 đến nay, sinh viên Stanford luôn mang về ít nhất một huy chương Olympics.

Không chỉ Stanford, tổng cộng có đến 75% vận động viên trong US Team là sinh viên hoặc cựu sinh viên.
Năm nay, Đại học Florida mang đến 11 vận động viên (tương tự Đại học Washington, Princeton và Georgia);
Đại học Texas có 12; Đại học California-Berkeley và California-Los Angeles đều có 16…

Điều đó cho thấy hệ thống đại học Mỹ có môi trường thể thao tốt như thế nào.
Giáo dục Mỹ luôn nhấn mạnh việc bồi đắp sức khỏe quan trọng không kém xây dựng kiến thức.
Với nhiều trường, sinh hoạt thể thao và tham gia thế vận hội đã trở thành truyền thống lâu đời.
Giáo dục đại học Mỹ luôn tự hào về điều đó.

Từ Thế vận hội Hè 1904 đến Thế vận hội Đông 2014, Đại học Southern California (USC) đã đóng góp tổng cộng
423 vận động viên; giành 288 huy chương (135 huy chương vàng) trong đó có ít nhất một huy chương vàng tại mỗi
Thế vận hội mùa hè kể từ 1912 đến nay!
Nếu USC thi đấu với vị trí như một quốc gia thì họ xếp hạng 16 thế giới!

Lịch sử thể thao USC có một gương mặt huyền thoại.

Tại Olympics Berlin 1936, cậu học sinh Louis Zamperini đã gây sửng sốt, trước sự chứng kiến của Hitler, khi chạy
vòng cuối cuộc thi marathon chỉ với 56 giây.

Sau Thế vận hội, Zamperini vào học USC. Thế chiến thứ hai xảy ra, Zamperini gia nhập quân đội.
Trong phi vụ năm 1943, Zamperini cùng phi đội trên chiếc B-24 rơi xuống Thái Bình Dương. Sống sót sau 47 ngày trên biển,
Zamperini được cứu và trở thành tù binh trong một trại tù Nhật suốt hai năm rưỡi. Sau chiến tranh, cựu sinh viên
USC Zamperini trở thành nhà diễn thuyết lừng danh.

Câu chuyện Zamperini đã được kể lại trong quyển Unbroken của Laura Hillenbrand, được Angelina Jolie xuất sắc
dựng lên màn bạc, và được USC ghi vào biên niên sử của trường.

Bởi việc đặt nặng biến con người thành cỗ máy hơn là xây dựng nhân cách, chẳng có gì ngạc nhiên khi nghe
những vụ ồn ào về thái độ khiếm nhã của vận động viên Trung Quốc.
Họ lao vào thi đấu và họ cay cú điên tiết nếu thất bại.

Giữa Mỹ và Trung Quốc, sự khác biệt lẫn chênh lệch của hai nền thể thao và giáo dục là rất rõ ràng.
Người ta có thể nhìn thấy tương lai và sức mạnh thật sự của hai quốc gia đó qua điều này.

Hai ông Bơi Thủ Mẽo kia đã được tha về nước. Rồi anh chàng Locte kia cũng lên ngỏ lời xin lỗi, khéo léo dùng chữ để che đậy những chuyện gian dối của mình, đổ lỗi về bất đồng ngôn ngữ v.v. Mấy ông Mẽo này sẽ phải đóng góp thiện nguyện 1 số tiền. Còn anh chàng Locte thì chắc sẽ mất trọn mấy khoản tiền quảng cáo béo bở và chắc sẽ kg còn cơ hội thi đấu nữa. Theo tui đoán thì tương lai anh chàng này chỉ còn trở về mở lớp dạy bơi cho trẻ em, rồi lâu lâu ngồi thơ thẩn ngắm trăng ngắm mây, nhớ lại quá khứ và kỷ niệm Rio này. Âu cũng là 1 kỷ niệm nhớ đời, uống cho đã, rồi lúc đến trạm xăng, nhịn kg nổi, đạp cửa cầu tiêu và tè bậy. Câu chuyện này làm tôi nhớ đến 1 bài nữa cũng đang đăng trên mạng về 1 cô gái Tàu, ngồi đại tiện trong thang máy, tỉnh bơ giải quyết vấn đề mà kg ngờ đã bị quay phim qua hệ thống máy ảnh an ninh của thang máy.
