Justice Dept. cracks down on Cyber Monday scams
Cyber Monday wasn't just about sales. On one of the busiest online shopping days of the year, the Justice Department announced that it shut down 150 Web sites selling counterfeit goods ranging from sports jerseys to handbags to the popular P90X exercise program. The operation was part of a campaign launched last year that has targeted more than 350 sites visited by millions of consumers.

In clearing Occupy site, time is on LAPD's side, chief says
After a flurry of eviction threats, street protests and court maneuvering, Occupy L.A. remained standing on the City Hall lawn Monday evening - prompting debate about the caution displayed by city leaders seeking to avoid violent clashes seen in other cities. Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said Monday he remains committed to the restrained approach, noting that the encampment has shrunk by about 150 tents in recent days and that police have so far managed to avoid aggressive confrontations with protesters.

LAPD evicts Occupy LA protesters
Police officers in riot helmets Wednesday arrested more than 200 protesters and, in an operation free of major violence, dismantled the tent city that sprang up Oct. 1 outside Los Angeles City Hall as a western outpost of the Occupy Wall Street movement. In a slow-moving operation that remained mostly free of violent outbursts, officers from the LAPD's elite Metro Division began moving onto the Occupy L.A. encampment on City Hall's South lawn at 12:14 a.m., arresting those who refused to leave and dismantling tents and other forms of shelter. An estimated 500 helmeted LAPD officers - some in white Hazmat uniforms - burst out of City Hall doors and descended down concrete stairs and into the Occupy L.A. encampment.

Amid ever-changing political winds, Los Angeles Police Officers have adhered to the highest standards of law enforcement in dealing with the Occupy L.A. protestors over the past two months. Acting on the commands of the civilian leadership in Los Angeles, the LAPD cleared the Occupy L.A. camp. While there is a place for civil protest, the unsanitary and dangerous conditions of the Occupy L.A. encampment required that the encampment be disbanded. The LAPD officers' training and experience have served them well in dealing with a wide range of individuals with different agendas. We commend the officers for effectively and efficiently ending Occupy L.A. at City Hall with minimum use of force."


Antonovich rails against prison realignment
Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich said he wants the state to stop dumping violent offenders in Los Angeles County. Speaking against state law AB 109 at Tuesday's Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting, Antonovich called the recently enacted law "reckless." It "is not the way you make the state a better place - by turning loose all these idiots, violent criminals, in our neighborhoods. If you were a governor, you would have to call a special session to say 'I made a mistake. We have to correct this.'"

Trong quá khứ dân tộc ta đã phải chịu đựng hàng ngàn năm dưới ghông xiềng đô hộ của Tàu qua nhiều triều đại. Những áp bức, khổ ải, oan khiên, nhục nhằn và đầy đọa dưới sự lệ thuộc Tàu vẫn không làm hao mòn chí khí oai phong ngất trời của con dân Việt, nam nữ, già trẻ, đều tận lực đồng lòng hô hào khởi nghĩa dành độc lập, cứu giang san.



Tài liệu lịch sử cho thấy rõ dã tâm xâm lăng của bọn giặc phương Bắc vẫn luôn luôn manh nha trong huyết quản của chúng. Chúng luôn muốn thôn tính nước ta bằng mọi giá.
Hiện nay Tàu cộng đang từ từ lấn áp chúng ta trên mọi bình diện: đất đai, kinh tế, văn hoá, xã hội. Chúng đang thực hiện chính sách đồng hoá người Việt một cách tinh xảo. Chính đám người lãnh đạo ngu xuẩn của cái gọi là “đảng cộng sản Việt Nam” miệng thì nói “cứu nước, thống nhất Nam Bắc, đẩy mạnh nước nhà đến vinh quang” nhưng thực tế đã hèn hạ nối cánh tay dài cho lũ giặc ngoại xâm, cam tâm dâng hiến giang san gấm vóc cho Tàu cộng phương Bắc.

Quê hương sắp rơi hay nói đúng hơn, đang lặng lẽ đi dần vào thời kỳ Bắc thuộc mới.

Identity theft, credit card fraud on the rise
Credit card theft is on the rise, according to the latest crime estimates. Last year, about 8.6 million U.S. households, or 7 percent, experienced some form of identity theft, up from the 6.4 million that fell victim to identify thieves in 2005, according to Bureau of Justice Statistics estimates. The total financial losses for those households totaled $13.3 billion. In most cases, identity thieves obtained victims' existing credit card information, the bureau reported. The data includes both attempted and successful use of the stolen information.
