Stock Market Outlook:

For the week, the outlook for Monday is weak but I am not expecting a strong drop in the S&P and Dow. The NASDAQ may have a bit further to fall.

Tuesday I am expecting a rally higher as the NASDAQ works toward recovering some of the losses.
Wednesday will be all about the Fed.
Thursday and Friday are tough to call since we have the Fed interest rate decision in the middle of the week on Wednesday.

Stay Cautious

For this week, at least at the start, staying cautious is probably the best strategy.
Even holding a few bear type instruments like the SDOW or SQQQ may prove valuable.
But ultimately it comes down to a personal comfort level when trading in stocks that are facing an unknown start to the week.

*** Anh Lacduong ơi: CCG don’t believe Friday’s drop is the start of a new bear market. I do believe, caution and staying protected is never the wrong choice to make in any market. Let’s see how Monday and Tuesday unfold, ahead of the Fed announcement on Wednesday. That should give us a good picture of where the market may be heading.

Possible Bounce For Tuesday

Don’t be surprised if we get a bounce on Tuesday out of the NASDAQ. If we do, then we should see some fairly heavy buying is some of the beat up tech names.
The drop in the tech stocks on Friday and Monday felt like the drop in the bank stocks just a couple of months ago.
That too ended with investors suddenly jumping in and pushing stocks back up. I think we could easily see the same here.

Stock Market Outlook for – Wed Jun 14 2017

The day will belong primarily to the Federal Reserve and Chair Janet Yellen. Investors get the latest decision on interest rates from the Federal Reserve.
Expectations are overwhelmingly in favor of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates a quarter of a percent.
While there are many analysts who do not believe the economy is strong enough to continue to raise rates,
there are many others who believe the Fed is trying to move back to at least 2.5% to 3% interest rates by 2019 and reduce the Fed’s balance sheet.
With a rate increase expected, I am anticipating the markets will move higher into the announcement, then may sell lower if there is a rate increase, before moving higher once again into the close of the day.
If there is no rate increase I am expecting the market to dip slightly after the announcement and then turn more sideways but stay positive into the close of trading.

In the mean time, hôm qua CCG đưa bạn đi ăn after her chemo-infusion tại PHỞ PAPA ở San Jose CA nè. Bước vô tiệm là thơm mùi phở, tiếp đãi lịch sự, cô lấy order còn cười tươi với 2 đứa.
