. The North Korean ICBM crisis.
. The healthcare failure.
. The travel ban.
. Illegal Immigrated Deportation.
. NAFTA.
. Climate agreement withdraw.
. Inflation index stayed lower than 2%.
. Heavy deficit trades.
. Low salary.

2. Fluctuation:

. Dollar index
. Gold price
. Oil output

3. Good things:

. Low unemployment rate.
. Some success in high tech corporation sites.

Outlook For July 20 2017

All three major indexes made new all-time highs on Wed Jul 19 2017.
Investors are buoyed by some strong earnings that came on Tuesday after the close and Wednesday morning.
The political backdrop of the failed health bill is being ignored as investors focus on the upcoming earnings.

Volume rose by 100 million shares on Wednesday. The market had the best day since Wednesday of last week with a rally of 40.74 points.
New highs more than doubled while new lows didn’t budge. 71% of all volume and 65% of all stocks were rising on Wednesday.

This is setting the NASDAQ up for more gains on Thursday.
Thursday should see further advances for the S&P and a positive close.

Soon, Amazon will destroy the whole retailer and household supply business systems.... First, it killed Costco (and many similar grocery stores). Now, it is about to take over Sears and today, it simply kills Home Depot in the market. The monopolizing game is happening and when will it be stopped?! Robotic labor force won't be long.... SAD!

Soon, Amazon will destroy the whole retailer and household supply business systems.... First, it killed Costco (and many similar grocery stores). Now, it is about to take over Sears and today, it simply kills Home Depot in the market. The monopolizing game is happening and when will it be stopped?! Robotic labor force won't be long.... SAD!

The Amazon-Sears partnership will impact the bottom line of HomeDepot / CostCO & Lowe, anh Mộc, but to what extent is hard to know.

Home Depot and Lowes will most likely ramp up their selling offers and pricing as they compete head-on with Amazon.
The Amazon deal will also impact to a lesser extent Costco.
We should see Costco’s share price have more trouble climbing but perhaps not falling below $150 until we get some idea on the impact to their bottom line, as well.

There are a large number of small appliance companies that will be also impacted especially as the giants of Lowes and Home Depot will likely slash prices further
or put together deals for consumers that smaller companies will be hard-pressed to match.

CCG think retail is going through a dramatic change and investors would be wise to take only small steps into retail until more revenue numbers are seen and the true impact of Amazon on all of these companies, is better known.

Market Outlook For July 21 2017:

Indexes were almost unchanged on Thursday except for the NASDAQ which closed at another new all-time high.
Overall the market was in a somber mood as Sears announced it would be selling its Kenmore Appliances through Amazon.
The news sent a number of major retailers lower including, Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Whirlpool and Costco.
Earnings continued to come in and most companies reporting so far have beaten estimates.
But the market seemed more focused on the Sears-Amazon announcement and wondered where this would be taking retailers.

Friday should see stocks open higher as a number of companies, including Microsoft, reported stellar earnings for the quarter on Thursday after the close.
These better than expected earnings, should be enough to push stocks higher by the close on Friday.
