The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has expelled two Belarusian coaches who pulled sprinter Krystsina Tsimanouskaya from the Olympic Games and tried to force her to board a flight home to Minsk.

Athletics head coach Artur Shumak and team official Yuri Moisevich had their accreditations rescinded and were asked to leave the Olympic village, the organisation announced in a Twitter post on Friday.

“In the interest of the wellbeing of the athletes of the [National Olympic Committee] of Belarus who are still in Tokyo and as a provisional measure, the IOC cancelled and removed last night the accreditations of the two coaches,” the organisation wrote.

Notably, the two men were allegedly heard on leaked audio where they threatened and cajoled Tsimanouskaya to cease her public criticism of the national team.

“You’re like a fly in a spiderweb: the more you jerk around, the worse you get entangled,” a voice told Tsimanouskaya on the audio. At another point, one of the men told her that excessive pride “leads to cases of suicide”.

Theo dõi vụ này thì thấy Bạch Nga còn nhân đạo hơn nhiều
quốc gia, đứng đầu là Việt Nam. Sau khi Bạch Nga bẽ mặt với
thế giới nhiều vụ mà gần đây đình đám nhất là áp giải máy bay,
rồi vụ cô lực sĩ điền kinh này. Nhưng Ba Lan cho chồng cô này
nhập cảnh, thì Bạch Nga vẫn cho chồng cổ xuất ngoại đoàn tụ.
Trong khi các anh chị hoạt động ở Việt Nam thì làm gì có cơ hội
đoàn tụ người thân.

Trump slams US women's soccer team and Megan Rapinoe as 'Leftist Maniacs' and 'wokesters' after they win bronze at the Olympics

Former President Donald Trump released a statement attacking the US women's Olympic soccer team after it beat Australia to win the bronze medal on Thursday.

"If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn't woke, they would have won the Gold medal instead of the Bronze," he said. "Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has."

Trump added: "They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again."

Trump also singled out one of the team's star players, Megan Rapinoe, calling her "the woman with purple hair." He said she played "terribly," even though she scored two of the US's four goals — including a rare corner-kick goal known as an "Olímpico."

Rapinoe, who helped lead the US to its gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics, is an outspoken Trump critic who endorsed Sen. Elizabeth Warren during the 2020 Democratic primaries. Trump previously attacked Rapinoe after she refused to visit the White House while he was president.

Trump said something similar about "wokeism" during a rally in Arizona last month, during which he celebrated the US team's loss to Sweden.

"Wokeism makes you lose, ruins your mind, and ruins you as a person. You become warped. You become demented," Trump said at the time. "The US women's soccer team is a very good example of what's going on."

The crowd cheered when Trump said, "Earlier this week they unexpectedly lost to Sweden 3-0, and Americans were happy about it."

Rapinoe said the US women's soccer team "just didn't have our juice" but added that the team found its "joy" and "freedom" during the game on Thursday.

"Eventually, we'll have to do the debrief and figure out why we played five bad games and had one good game in the tournament," she said.

Muốn coi lãnh huy chương thì vô nét tìm coi tha hồ. Mỹ lãnh huy chương vàng chắc thấy ngán rồi nên đài cúp bớt cho khỏi bị nhàm. Bởi vậy nhiều người Mỹ cũng khóc lúc Canadarella thắng, vì mừng cho họ.

Mỹ trút giọt lệ ấm khóc mừng một ngàу hạnh phúc cho Canada…
