Thì dân Ottawa ở đó cũng có món khoai chan sốt đặt tên là Poutine (pu-tin).

Sau 75 học trò Sài gòn nhiều đứa bị bắt học tiếng Nga. Mà tiếng Nga thì không có chữ H, chỉ có KH nên mấy thằng tên Huy viết là хуй. Cô giáo dạy tiếng Nga mỗi lần đọc tên Khuy vừa đỏ mặt vừa cố nhịn cười. Sau này cô bảo nó viết bằng chữ G để đọc thành Ghuy.
