Vì mục tiêu là chánh trị gia đang tranh cử nên ai cũng nghĩ tới nguyên nhân hay mục đich chánh trị, quên rằng nó vẫn là hậu quả tất nhiên khi chánh phủ để dân Mỹ được mua súng thả cửa, thậm chí có nhiều chánh trị gia còn khuyến khích dân mua súng và mang súng ra đường để chứng tỏ sự tự do kiểu Mỹ. Thằng nhỏ chưa có quyền mua bia mà có quyền mua súng, rồi hỏi sao có bạo lực xảy ra. Gieo gió thì hứng bão, bán súng thì trúng đạn.

Cùng một ngày thứ bảy hôm qua có thêm hai ba vụ bắn chết người trên nước Mỹ, Ngay ở thủ đô DC cuối tuần là bảo đảm có bắn lộn, có mấy cái hộp đêm gần nhà nên ưa nghe tiếng súng pop pop rồi nghe tiếng còi ăm bu lăng eo eo.

The exchange took place at Ankara airport on Thursday in a complicated operation in which planes arrived from and departed to multiple countries.

In total, 16 people were released from Russian and Belarusian jails, and eight Russians returned home. Two minors were also sent to Russia, believed to be the children of the couple jailed in Slovenia.

Among those returning to Russia was the assassin Vadim Krasikov, who has been held in a German prison since 2019 for the murder of a Chechen exile in Berlin. Additionally, several deep-cover Russian “illegal” spies arrested in Norway and Slovenia were swapped, along with Russians held on criminal charges in US jails.

Putin personally met the Russian prisoners with a red carpet reception at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport along with Kremlin guards in full dress uniform. Putin, who had lobbied personally for Krasikov to be included in the deal, hugged the assassin as he debarked from the plane. He also handed out bouquets of flowers to the family of the alleged GRU spy Pavel Rubtsov, who had posed as a journalist before his arrest in Poland in 2022.

Soon after the video was posted online, viewers pointed out much of the footage depicted as “Canadian” was easily traced to places outside the country. A thread on X by the Calgary-based user @disorderedyyc compiled at least 13 inconsistencies, adding: “If you’re making a video about the Canada ‘we know and love’, you should be using actual Canadian footage.”

Among the gaffes: a “Canadian dad” driving through the suburbs was actually stock footage from North Dakota in the United States, a clip of children attending class was shot in Serbia, the “Canadian-built” homes were under construction in Slovenia, and a university student “late for class” was filmed at a post-secondary institution in Ukraine.

A scene in which a child walks with her grandparents was shot in London’s Richmond Park, and a family gathering where the group enjoy “a wonderful venison that was shot with totally legal Canadian firearms” was filmed in Italy.

Even scenes explicitly meant to depict uniquely Canadian landscapes were of other faraway locations. A scene of Alberta’s foothills to the Rocky Mountains was a clip from Indonesia. Cattle grazing in a vast field was filmed in California. One of the final scenes of a sunset, overlaid with the words “We’re Home”, was shot in Venezuela.

The scene that has generated the most controversy involves a pair of fighter jets in the sky. A spokesperson for Canada’s defence minister said the two planes were Russian Su-17 and Su-27 jets.

Governor Gavin Newsom imposed a state of emergency on Monday as officials cut power to 245 homes in the seaside community, about 25 miles (40km) south of Los Angeles, due to worsening land movement.

While the city has long dealt with landslides, a historic storm in Februaryintensified and accelerated the movements leading to shifts as great as 1ft a week. Rancho Palos Verdes is now grappling with buckling streets, buildings sinking and cracking and hundreds of families forced to leave their homes.

Earlier this year, landslides in the region led to the dismantling of the Wayfarers chapel, Frank Lloyd Wright Jr’s celebrated glass sanctuary. The chapel’s leaders took it apart before it was destroyed by the land movement, with hopes of someday relocating it to a more stable site.

Last year, hillside homes in the affluent Rolling Hills Estates in Los Angeles crumbled and cracked due to similar cliffside shifts, leading to rushed evacuations.

Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.

Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.

I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.

I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I’ll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.
