https://www.theguardian.com/australi...me-solar-storm
Có khi nắng khuya soi lênAurora australis has lit up skies across southern Australia after an “extreme” geomagnetic solar storm.
Social media users in posted pictures of brightly coloured skies in Victoria, Tasmania, and across the Tasman in New Zealand.
The BoM’s space weather forecasting centre said the storm’s effects reached Earth on Friday night and would continue to Sunday morning.
The BoM said the best time to see the aurora australis was between Saturday 10pm and Sunday 2am, from a dark spot with unobstructed views south.

Úc sắp có Phở tàu bay?
drone deliveries taking off in Australia
https://www.theguardian.com/australi...elivery-amazon
Em ơi, drone bay mang theo thức ăn sẵn sàng cất trong to-goCustomers can order via the DoorDash app from stores inside. Workers from shops or restaurants then take orders to the roof, where a Wing employee loads specially designed foldable parcels into the styrofoam drones before they are flown to an address’s driveway or back yard. All that’s required is a space 2m in circumference at the destination to lower the package.
Already, the number of drones licensed to operate in Australia is greater than the number of existing airspace users combined, according to government figures.
Medications and freshly prepared food such as coffee, smoothies and burgers are popular on the service, which can still only support a 1.2kg payload – better suited to individual and smaller items than a weekly grocery shop.
“Up to 10km and back in urban and suburban areas is what we focus on,” Suskin said.
Em ơi, xin em, xin em cứ order thật nhiều những chiều buồn mưa lẻ loi

Australia records ‘gobsmacking’ hot August temperatures
https://www.theguardian.com/australi...d-temperatures
Làm sao về được mùa đôngAustralia’s winter runs from June to August, but swathes of the country have felt like summer the past week with temperatures topping 40C and records tumbling.
The national record for the hottest August day was broken on Monday at Yampi Sound in the remote Western Australia Pilbara region, where the temperature reached 41.6C – breaking the previous record of 41.2C set in 2020. On Friday, Sydney had its hottest August day since 1995, passing 30C.
Western Australia, the Northern Territory and South Australia all broke state-high records, and Queensland missed by 0.1C. The SA record of 36.5C which had stood since 1946 was eclipsed with a 39.4C reading in the remote outback town of Oodnadatta, 870 km north of the state capital of Adelaide
Dòng sông đôi bờ rát nắng
Làm sao về được mùa đông
Để khi ra đường không nóng
Thôi đành ru lòng mình vậy
Vờ như mùa đông đã về

Bịnh ung thư chuối: the banana virus
Cavendish banana is at risk of being wiped out
https://www.theguardian.com/australi...odified-qcav-4
Ăn chuối nào rào chuối đó.Panama disease is a soil-borne fungus spread not only by people and other animals, but also by water.
“Tropical race 4 is a whole different beast,” Lindsay says. “What we have is like prostate cancer, it takes them out slowly. TR4 is like pancreatic cancer; it eats things alive overnight.”
The heartland of the Australian banana industry, tropical north Queensland, produces more than 95% of the bananas eaten across the country. TR4 first showed up there in the Tully valley in 2015.
“Once you get it, you’ve still got 10 years,” says the chair of Australian Banana Growers, Leon Collins. “Now we are coming up right on 10 years from that first infection.”

10-04-2024, 10:07 PM #479Mới đọc nghe tên Tư Lê nhớ lại tiền đạo đội tuyển túc cầu quốc gia VNCH năm 73 chứ.

Bà này tên đầy đủ Lê Nguyên Tú, nghe đồn rằng sinh trưởng ở Úc mà thành thạo tiếng Việt thì phải. Nghe
